Online poker rooms are frequently offering new players bonuses and giveaways but one site has now gone a stage further with its 'Poker Goat' promotion.
For every new player that signs up and meets the minimum requirements of the online casinos, pokerbonusdirect.com says it will give a goat to a family in Africa or other countries in the third world via Oxfam.
The money for buying the goats comes from the online casino affiliate program, which earns it for referring players to online casino sites.
The player than receives a card and a voucher from Oxfam to show that the goat has been delivered and is now helping to improve lives in developing countries.
Families are able to breed the goats to get a herd together and these can then be sold to raise money for school fees or farming tools and start to reduce poverty.
